IPL 2019

Chennai Super Kings is taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore on 23rd march in an IPL 2019 opener. CSK’s all rounder Dwayne Bravo is eyeing on their fourth IPL title. On paper, CSK looks stronger than RCB. The likes of MS Dhoni, Shane Watson, and Ambati Rayudu has added charm to super kings. Bravo has insisted that they are not looking at the history at all, as they are gearing up for the fresh start in the upcoming T20 event.

Ahead of the tournament opener, Bravo told chennaisuperkings.com on Friday, “Every season is different, this season is a new edition and we have come to win, last year is long gone.”

The all-rounder continued, “Always been exciting coming back here. I’ve had some of my best cricket days at the Den. We have the biggest fan base across the world. Feels great to be in Yellow and wins game for the City that’s very passionate about cricket.”

Meanwhile, Bravo is aware of the tag Dad’s Army because of the number of the senior players in the CSK squad but Windies all-rounder is confident that no one can defeat the experience.

He signed off by saying, “We were aware of the name-calling but you can’t beat experience, no matter. The way CSK went about picking the squad at auction –experience along with some talented young players. The core of the team was kept, and that made a huge difference. Last year, everyone doubted us, and we went onto win the crown.”
